How to Add Shapes to the Whiteboard

All students, tutors, and advisors can add, move, and customize Shapes to the whiteboard. Available shapes include: square, triangle, circle, and line. This might be helpful in particular for striking out lines of text, for example, or organizing notes.

Instructions

  1. Click the Shape Tool.

    Click on the Shape in the toolbar at the top of the whiteboard. This will open the options menu.

  2. Choose the Shape to Add.

    • Choose what shape the tool will make
    • Click a color to choose the color of the shape

  3. Close the Menu.

    Click the Shape tool again to close the shape menu.

  4. Add the Shape.

    Click on the whiteboard to add your shape.

  5. Move, Resize, or Delete the Shape

    After you've created the shape, you'll automatically be able to use the Select tool. Use the Select tool to move, resize, and delete the shape.
