  1. Create a Comfortable Viewing Environment

    • Choose a quiet, private space to view these videos without being distracted or disturbed.
    • Use headphones for better focus and privacy.
    • Ensure you're comfortable – maybe grab a cup of tea or a cozy blanket!

  2. Watch with Intent

    • Before watching, set a clear intention. Ask yourself what you hope to learn or understand better.
    • Pause and reflect after each video. Consider jotting down key points or insights that resonated with you.
    • If questions arise, write them down. You can research these later or discuss them with a counselor.

  3. Practice Mindfulness and Self-Care

    • Be mindful of your reactions to the content. If a topic is too overwhelming, it’s okay to take a break.
    • Remember to practice self-care and self-compassion as you explore these topics.

  4. Follow Up with Professional Support If Needed

    • If a video triggers strong emotions or raises concerns, seek support from a mental health professional. Your school might offer mental health services on campus.
    • If your school partners with BetterMynd for teletherapy, access your BetterMynd portal from the Mental Health Module to connect with a therapist for personalized help. To learn more about BetterMynd, take a look at this article: Student Guide: Accessing BetterMynd for Teletherapy
