Onboarding Steps
1. Log Into Upswing
To get started, you'll need to first log into Upswing. Depending on the institution you're affiliated with, you may log into Upswing using your school credentials. However, an administrator from your school may also create an account on your behalf. Consult with your school's Tutor Coordinator or Upswing administrator for assistance.
2. Set Up Your Profile
Once you've logged in, you'll want to get started with setting up your account. This includes setting a profile picture, writing a bit about yourself in your 'About Me' section, detailing your experience as an educator, and adding your education history!

3. Adjust Your Communication Preferences
Customize the types of alerts you'd like to receive from Upswing and the method by adjusting your communication preferences. This involves adding a phone number and adjusting your notification settings to ensure you stay informed about tutoring sessions and communications.

4. Set Up Your Tutor Profile
Highlight your expertise by selecting the subjects you're qualified to tutor in and adding any languages you're fluent in. This information helps students find the right match for their needs.

5. Add Your Availability
In order for students to be able to schedule sessions with you, you'll need to add your schedule to your Tutor Profile.

6. Communicate with Your Tutor Coordinator / Upswing Administrator
Once you've completed the steps above, your school's Tutor Coordinator may need to complete the final step to allow for students to be able to start scheduling sessions with you!
