What are some best practices for joining the Virtual Learning Center (VLC) on a mobile device?

While we suggest using Upswing on a computer, we understand that’s not always possible! Here are some best practices to make the experience a smooth one while on a mobile device.

Using the VLC (Virtual Learning Center, where you'll attend online tutoring sessions):

• When entering the VLC, you may want to turn your device to landscape orientation and then pinch and zoom out in order to get the full width of the VLC displayed.

• Screen sharing functionality is not available in the VLC on mobile.

• The chat box may not be available to most users in the VLC on mobile.

• You may want to use headphones while in the VLC, to ensure the other person in the session can hear you well.

• Google Chrome 28+

• Mozilla Firefox 24+

• Opera Mobile 12+
