What do I do if a specific tutor can't meet at a time that fits my schedule?

If the tutor that you wish to meet with is unavailable, you have a couple options to get help!

This article explains the options available to you if you want to book a session with a specific tutor, but they aren't available at the time you'd like to meet with them. Tutors on Upswing make their own schedules, so nobody can tell them they have to be available at the time you wanted to meet with them. There is probably a good reason they don't have that specific time available, but that's okay! 

Book that tutor for a different time 

When you go to a tutor's profile, the times at which they ARE available to tutor will show up under Availability. Click a time range by clicking the Select a time button.

In the popup, you’ll be prompted to select a Subject, Time, and Duration. You’ll also be able to upload any documents or files the tutor might need prior to the session.

To get to a tutor’s profile, you can search for them by name via the Tutoring section:

Book a session with a different tutor at the time you need

If you need to schedule tutoring in a specific subject at a very specific time, you can easily find another tutor who can help you! Search for the subject that you need help in by typing its name in the search bar on your tutoring page. 

Once you see a list of available tutors, use the filter panel to find tutors who are available at the date and time you need. Select the tutor you want and click Get Tutored Now to request an immediate session.
