As cans sometimes happen working with students, if you are no longer able to attend a session as scheduled, you can easily cancel the session right from your Tutoring page on Upswing! The steps to cancel a session are simple, you only need to be able to log into your Upswing account prior to the session's start time in order to cancel.
Please follow the steps below to cancel an upcoming session:
Step 1: Log in to your Upswing account.
Step 2: Click on the 'View your tutoring sessions' box from the main window, or click on the 'Tutoring' icon on the left navigation menu.
Step 3: Find the session you need to cancel in the 'Upcoming Sessions' box at the top of your Tutoring page.
Step 4: Click the red 'Cancel' button. The session status will change to 'Cancelled'.
Step 5: Once the session is cancelled, we recommend sending the student a message to let them know you had to cancel. To do so, click on the student's name.
Step 6: A popup box will appear, allowing you to type the message you'd like to send to the student. Click the blue 'Send' button to send the message to the student.
