How to Use the Pointer

The Pointer allows all students, tutors, and advisors to make their cursor visible to everyone else in the session without screen sharing. This can help direct attention to specific areas of the whiteboard during discussion.

Instructions

1. Click the Pointer.

   Click on the Pointer tool on the top toolbar (the icon that looks like an old chalkboard).
   
   
   

2. Use the Pointer.

   Hover the Pointer cursor on the whiteboard. This cursor is visible to everyone in the VLC session.
   NOTE: The Pointer tool is only used as a pointer, and is not interchangeable with the Select tool.
