Does Upswing issue tax forms, like a 1099, to Upswing tutors?

Tutors contracted by Upswing are classified as independent contractors, therefore, Upswing does not withhold taxes from a tutor's earnings. Additionally, Upswing does not issue any tax forms, including 1099s, to tutors contracted by Upswing.

Additionally, Upswing is not able to provide tutors with any tax advice. For all current and former tutors, please review your individual PayPal account and the information provided on PayPal's website, or consult with your tax advisor with any questions or concerns related to taxes as an independent contractor.

How to View Total Earnings as a Tutor

Current Upswing tutors can track their earnings within their Upswing account by navigating to the "Calendar" tab. From here, you can filter each pay cycle to see how much money you earned during that pay cycle.
