This article provides step-by-step instructions to show students how to schedule a group tutoring session on Upswing. Read the written instructions below, or scroll down to watch a quick video tutorial!

Helpful Things to Know About Group Sessions

  • The recommended maximum group size is 3 - 4; most tutors have the limits set for each tutoring session. You will be able to see this limit before you schedule with your tutor, so be sure to double check they can accommodate the group you have in mind!

  • Come prepared with a list of questions -- the other students in the session may have a similar question to you, and having a written list will help you quickly skip over questions that have already been answered.

  • If you have classmates that you would like to join you, let them know which tutor you scheduled and when so that they can add the session to their upcoming sessions as well.
